> Connect the USB power plug (b) to a USB socket on your computer.
> Connect the USB data plug (c) to a second USB socket on your computer.
3. The
Store & Share
will be automatically recognised a removable media device (an
icon will be added in the
My Computer
window).
4. Transfer files to or from the player using Windows Explorer.
5. After the files have been copied, deactivate the player by clicking once on the
Safely
remove hardware
icon in the Notification Area (next to the clock) and selecting the
Store & Share
. You can now unplug the
Store & Share
and transport your files to a tel-
evision or another computer.
Packard Bell Data Secure
can protect data stored on your computer from irreparable loss
or damage. You may use
Packard Bell Data Secure
with the
Store & Share
to create
backups. Please refer to the
Companion CD
for information on
Packard Bell Data Secure
.
Note: If the USB connection does not provide enough power, the AC adapter can be used
to power the Store & Share. Plug in the AC adapter and turn the Store & Share ON before
connecting it to the computer.
