The Packard Bell Portable Oximeter quickly and accurately measures 

your oxygen (SpO2) level and pulse rate. Simply place your finger 

inside the Oximeter and quickly get an accurate reading.

WARNING

Please read these instructions carefully before using this product and 

keep the instructions and the oximeter in a safe place.

• For non-medical use. 

• This device is only intended for sports and recreational use.

• Keep out of reach of children under 12 years.

• Please follow the general safety precautions when using on children.

• This oximeter is not waterproof. Never immerse into water or other liquids.

• If damaged, do not attempt to repair the product, instead please 

contact customer support.

• Do not use the Oximeter in a magnetic resonance (MR) environment.

• Do not allow children under 12 years to take their measurements 

unattended.

• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents (see Care and Cleaning).

• Do not use the oximeter outside the specified operating and storage 

temperature ranges.

• Remove batteries when storing for long periods.

• Do not use the oximeter for purposes other than its original design.

• Avoid dropping the oximeter and protect it from severe impact and 

shock.

DISPLAY DESCRIPTION

Note:

 The readings might differ based on several factors such as age, 

sex, location.

INSTALLING BATTERIES

1. Open the battery cover as shown.

2. Insert two new AAA alkaline batteries 

(not included) following the polarity 

(+/-) diagram in the compartment. Do 

not mix old and new batteries, or mix 

different types or brands of battery. 

3. Close the battery cover.

USING THE OXIMETER

Before using the oximeter, make sure your finger and the oximeter’s finger 

sensor are clean. Please see “Care and Cleaning” (Page 8)

1. Press down on the edge of the oximeter and place your index finger 

into the oximeter’s finger sensor (nail side upward) as shown below.

2. Press the 

POWER

 button to turn the oximeter ON.

3. While the oximeter is working the numbers will fluctuate and the 

oximeter will beep. Keep you finger steady and wait until the

 displays a consistent pattern and the numbers stop fluctuating 

as shown below.

4. Take your finger out of the oximeter. The oximeter will automatically 

power off after 10 seconds of inactivity.

Note:

 If the signal strength is low, switch to another finger and perform 

the test again.

CHANGING THE DISPLAY ORIENTATION

You can change the display’s orientation by pressing the 

POWER

 button 

once. Press the 

POWER

 button again to scroll through the four orientation 

options below. 

Note

: While changing the orientation of the display, if you press the 

power button 4 times, it will also turn off the oximeter’s beeping sound. 

To turn it back on, simply press the POWER button again 4 times.

ATTACHING THE STRAP

The strap can be attached to the oximeter by following the instructions 

below:

CARE AND CLEANING

Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol (70% Isopropyl) to clean the 

oximeter casing and rubber. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Never 

soak the device in water or other cleaning liquids. Wait 10 minutes after 

cleaning before taking a measurement.
