Packard Bell Compasseo 450/460/480 Disassembly Manual

Casing

Perform the following steps to open the casing:

1. Make sure the power is OFF.

2. Turn the device upside down (with the touch screen facing down).

Note: Use an anti-static mat or something soft like a piece of cloth underneath the device to prevent damage to the

exterior of the device.

3. Remove the four hex screws securing the casing.

4. Carefully separate the back cover from the device. Do not separate both parts completely, because

they are still connected through a thin speaker cable.

Note: When separating the back cover from the device, keep in mind not to tear the label covering the headphone,

the TMC (optional), and the USB connectors on one side of the GPS device.
