Maintenance

Fuel Filter

The fuel filter should be cleaned at least twice per heating season by rinsing it in clean diesel (1-K 
kerosene). Contaminated fuel could make this necessary immediately.

NOTE: 

To remove the fuel filter, please draw out the rubber plug directly. Use of diesel may re-

quire additional maintenance. 

Improper maintenance can lead to poor combustion and soot 

production.
