Safety
•
Read this manual carefully until you completely understand
and follow all safety and operating instructions.
•
Keep this manual handy so that you may refer to it later
whenever any questions arise. Contact supplier in case of
unclarity.
•
Always let the manual follow the machine when selling or
lending the machine.
•
Never use the machine if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•
Must not be used by persons under the age of 18.
•
Keep a safe distance of min. 15 m to other persons when using the hedge trimmer.
•
Always operate the machine with both hands.
•
To carry out repair and maintenance work, always
place the machine on a clean and level surface and
remove the spark plug cap.
•
Always use gloves, protective goggles, ear protectors
and safety boots when operating the machine. Do
not wear anything that might be caught by the
moving parts. Secure long hair.
•
Do not wear loose clothing, jewellery, short trousers,
sandals or go barefoot.
•
Because of the exhaust gas, the trimmer must not be used in greenhouses and other
enclosed spaces.
•
Never use the product,
a)
when the ground is slippery or when you cannot maintain a steady posture.
b)
At night, at times of heavy fog, or at any other times when your field of vision
might be limited, and it would be difficult to gain a clear view of the working
area.
c)
During rainstorms, during lightning storms, at times of strong or gale-force
winds, or at any other times when weather conditions might make it unsafe to
use the product.
•
Always take extra care with the blade's sharp teeth.
•
Beware of the fire risk associated with heat release from the silencer.
•
Do not use the machine for too long, take breaks.
•
Always transport the machine with care and make sure to attach the blade protector to
the blade. Never transport the machine in rough terrain without emptying the tank.
