Checklist before driving the ATV
Loose parts
Check and tighten all of the joints each time the ATV is to be used. Check that
the bolts in the steering lamp are correctly in position. There must not be any
abnormal noise from loose parts or from defective components. If in doubt,
please contact a qualified mechanic.
Brakes
Check that the brakes function correctly. When the handle is pressed in, the
brake should engage. When the brake is activated while the speed control
function is activated, the brake will interrupt this function and stop the
motor.
Frame, front fork and handlebar
Check for cracks and defective joints. Even though damage to the frame
rarely happens, it is possible that aggressive driving has caused the vehicle to
hit a kerb or wall and thus dented or broken the frame. Make it a habit to
regularly check the ATV for damage.
Tyre pressure
Regularly check the tyres for wear and check the tyre pressure.
Safety equipment
Always ensure to use the correct safety equipment, such as an approved
helmet and protective elbow and knee pads. Use suitable footwear, e.g.
trainers.
