Going forward:
1.
With the operator in the seat, move the parking brake to the
position.
2.
Move both direction control levers to the upright position.
3.
Slowly and evenly, push both levers forward until the desired speed is achieved. The
farther the levers are pushed forward, the faster the machine will go.
Stopping the mower:
To stop the machine, slowly and evenly pull back on both direction control levers until
the mower comes to a complete stop and move the levers to the “Neutral” position.
Turn the blade switch to “OFF”, activate the parking brake
, switch off the engine
and remove the key.
Turning the mower:
To change direction, move the levers to the “Neutral” position. Push the lever forward
on the opposite side of the direction you want to turn. The farther you push forward,
the faster the machine will turn. To make extremely tight turns, pull back on the other
direction control lever at the same time.
Example: To make a sharp right turn, slowly push forward on the left direction control
lever, while at the same time pulling back on the right direction control lever. Or:
To make a sharp left turn, slowly push forward on the right direction control lever,
while at the same time pulling back on the left direction control lever.
Danger:
Make sure that you allow adequate time to fully understand
the controls and operation of the machine before you start to
operate it.
Danger:
Do not attempt to make high speed turns as you could lose control of
the machine and endanger both the operator and others.
