The use of any electrical appliance requires some basic rules to be observed,
particularly:
•
Before carrying out any maintenance operation, unplug the appliance from the mains
power supply!
•
Do not use extension cables or powerstrips!
•
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands and bare feet. Protect the appliance from
water!
•
Always disconnect the power cord from the mains supply before cleaning!
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not clean it with a waterjet.
•
Do not pull on the power cable or the appliance to disconnect the plug from the mains
socket.

INSTALLATION
Unpack the appliance and make sure that nothing remains in the box, in particular the
chain suspension and the tray.
•
The appliance is normally hung from the ceiling using the suspension chains and
positioned 3 meters above the ground, far from sources of light and sheltered from air
currents.
•
Use the appliance only in interior environments.
Do not install the appliance in byres, stables, barns, haylofts and such like.
Keep a safe distance to flammable materials like straw, hay and paper.
Do not use the appliance in explosion hazard areas i.e. where there are explosive
substances present, inflammable liquids (gas, vapors, mists), combustible dusts.
