To set the tower's reversing length.
1.
Move the tower down to the desired starting
point, 3–5 cm above the wood to be split.
2.
Release one control lever or stop the motor.
3.
Loosen the finger screw (A). Raise the
adjustment bar (B) until it runs on the spring
inside and tighten the finger screw (A).
4.
Release both control levers or start the motor.
5.
Check it is at the correct height.
•
Place a piece of wood vertically on the splitting table. The wood will be sawn
from above, so the splitting direction will be straight through the wood. Do not
attempt to split wood that is not straight.
•
Hold the grip claws against the wood and
press both levers down to start the blade
movement. Release one lever and the blade
movement stops. Release both levers and the
blade moves with the tower up to the adjusted
starting height.
•
Remove the split wood gradually as it is being split to keep the working area
free. This reduces the risk of falls.
