Attaching and Removing Sanding Pad
1. To attach the sanding pad, screw the sanding pad onto
the spindle in a clockwise direction.
2. Depress the spindle lock button (2) to prevent the
spindle from rotating.
3. Then tighten the sanding pad with the spanner provided
(Fig. 4).
4. To attach the sanding disc, simply press the sanding disc
firmly onto the sanding pad. The disc and pad will stick together with the aid of
hook and loop fastening system.
Caution:
Please use a cloth or glove to protect your hand before attempting to remove
sanding pad.
5. To remove the sanding pad, depress the spindle lock button (2) then turn the
sanding pad anti-clockwise to loosen.
Variable Speed Dial
The sander polisher has a variable speed dial (3) which
enables you to select a speed from 1000 to 3000 rpm to
suit your job. It also allows you to maintain a consistent
speed as you load the tool by applying pressure to your
work piece. Use lower speeds for applying liquid waxes
and polishes and higher speeds for removing dried liquid.
Use the highest speed for buffing the car to a final lustre.
1. Select a speed by rotating the variable speed dial (3)
(Fig. 5). 1 being the lowest and 6 being the highest.
Lock On Button
The sander polisher can be locked in the 'on' position for continuous use. This can
help reduce fatigue from prolonged use of the tool.
Soft Start Trigger Switch
This tool is equipped with a soft start switch that reduces the torque on start up. It will
take a few seconds to reach maximum speed.
