PREPARATION

The pump is fitted with a float switch, which controls how the 

pump switches on and switches off automatically. 200mm of 

water is the pumps lowest starting level.

NOTE:

 There must be a 

minimum of 100mm of cable 

from the adjuster to the float.

1.   When the float switch is 

about 30° higher than 

horizontal (start up level) 

or above the handle, the 

pump will turn ‘on’ and 

operate (water depth of 

500mm).

2.   When the float switch is 30° 

lower than the horizontal or 

below the handle, the pump 

will turn ‘off’. (water depth of 

approximately 150mm).

3.   To set the pump to switch 

off at a higher water level, 

adjust the float switch cable 

length in the adjuster.

4.   When the float switch cable 

is extended fully the pump 

will function down to a 

water depth of 50mm and 

automatically shut off.

WARNING!

 

MAKE SUR THAT THE FLOAT SWITCH DOES 

NOT TOUCH THE BOTTOM BEFORE SWITCHING OFF 

TO AVOID THE RISK OF RUNNING DRY.

The pump float switch can also function in manual mode 

which allows the pump to continually operate regardless of 

the water level.

1.   When the float switch 

is held in the vertical 

position the pump will run 

continuously.

WARNING!

 

TO PREVENT THE PUMP RUNNING DRY, 

THIS OPERATION MODE IS ONLY ALLOWED UNDER 

SUPERVISION. THE PUMP MUST BE SWITCHED OFF 

AS SOON AS NO MORE WATER IS EMITTED FROM THE 

DISCHARGE LINE.
