Warning!

Accessories may be hot after use. Avoid direct contact with skin, use

gloves or a cloth to remove.

Removing a SDS+ accessory

To remove the SDS+ accessory, pull the accessory locking sleeve (12) back towards the
body of the tool (away from the accessory holder (1) and pull the SDS+ accessory out
and away from the tool. Clean the SDS+ accessory shank with a cloth after removal.

Chuck and SDS+ adaptor

The chuck and adaptor (18) is a SDS+ shank combined with a 13mm keyed chuck. This
is ONLY intended for use with normal drill bits and with the hammer function turned off.

Important:

The 13mm keyed chuck (18) is not intended for use with SDS+

accessories. SDS+ accessories should be fitted directly into the tools accessory holder
(1). Using SDS+ accessories in the 13mm keyed chuck (18) may result in permanent
damage to the chuck.

Such damage will not be covered under warranty.

To use the chuck and adaptor first ensure the SDS+ accessory holder (of the tool) is
empty (no other accessories currently fitted). Insert the SDS+ shank of the chuck
into the accessory holder (1) as previously described under SDS+ Accessories.

SDS+ Accessory shank lubrication

It is recommended to lubricate your accessories
when they become dry or the lubrication becomes
dirty from the debris & dust created during
operation. Using a cloth,  simply apply a small
amount of grease (supplied in your kit box) to the
SDS+ accessory shank.

Inserting drill bits into the 13mm keyed chuck

Warning!

Prior to inserting or removing accessories always disconnect

the tool from the power supply. Drill bit accessories can be sharp, always
wear gloves to prevent cuts or lacerations.

To insert a bit or accessory, follow the below steps:

Open (release) the chuck jaws by turning
the collar your with fingers.

Insert the drill bit into the chuck
ensuring the end of the drill bit does
not touch the screw inside the chuck.

Once the jaws hold the bit or accessory
firmly, use the chuck key (19) to further
tighten the jaws by placing it into each of
the 3 holes on the chuck body and rotating
the key (19) clockwise in each position.
