Installing Batteries

The multimeter requires a 9V DC battery to operate.

1.  Unscrew the two screws 

on the back of the unit 

with a PH00 Phillips head 

screwdriver.

2.  Remove the back cover of the unit and attach a 9V battery to the 

battery flap.

3.  Tuck the battery into the compartment, replace the back cover of 

the unit and the 2 screws.

Low Battery Indicator

When the low battery icon 

appears, the batteries are at low 

charge and need to be replaced.

WARNING! 

TO AVOID FALSE READINGS, WHICH 

COULD LEAD TO ELECTRIC SHOCK OR PERSONAL 

INJURY, REPLACE THE BATTERY AS SOON AS THE 

LOW BATTERY ICON APPEARS.
