Vacuuming Liquids
Never tip the shed vac upward past horizontal when
vacuuming liquids.
Keep the nozzle pointed downwards, as shown in Fig.1.
Caution:
Raising the nozzle upwards can allow water to
be sucked through the filter cartridge (2) causing damage
to the motor.
Caution:
Ensure when vacuuming liquids that the separator housing (3) is firmly
pressed into the transparent debris container (1) or water can be sucked through
the motor.
Cleaning the Filter Cartridge
For best performance, empty the transparent debris container (1) and clean after
each use.
1. To remove the transparent debris container (1),
open the shed vac unit by pressing the debris
container release button (4) and gently pulling the
transparent debris container (1) away from the
shed vac, as shown in Fig.2.
2. Pull out the filter cartridge (2) and the separator
housing (3) and empty the debris from the
transparent debris container (1). Rinse the filter
cartridge (2) in cold water and allow to air dry.
3. When the filter cartridge (2) is dry, replace the
separator housing (3) and filter cartridge (2) into the
transparent debris container (1) as shown in Fig.3.
Never operate the shed vac without fitting the
separator housing (3) and filter cartridge (2) correctly.
4. Attach the transparent debris container (1) back onto
the shed vac as shown in Fig.4, a click will confirm
that it has been correctly fitted and is ready to use.
•
Keep the ventilation vents of the tool clean at all
times, if possible, prevent foreign matter from
entering the vents.
•
After each use, blow air through the tool housing to ensure it is free from all
dust particles which may build up. Build up of dust particles may cause the tool
to overheat and fail.
•
If the enclosure of the tool requires cleaning do not use solvents but a moist
soft cloth only. Never let any liquid get inside the tool; never immerse any part
of the tool into a liquid.
Note:
Ozito Industries will not be responsible for any damage or injuries caused by
the repair of the tool by an unauthorised person or by mishandling of the tool.
