It is important that there is adequate ventilation
while the fireplace is in operation.  It is
recommended that either an outside window is left
slightly open or a door to an adjacent area is left
ajar whilst the fireplace is operating.

When used in outdoor or high draft locations, the
flame will become more erratic and extra caution
should be taken. Under these circumstances a
greater clearance area may be required. Also note
fuel consumption will be higher. Never blow onto
the naked flames.

A fire extinguisher and safety fire blanket should be kept close at hand for emergency use,
if required.  In the event a fire occurs, alcohol resistant foam or carbon dioxide are suitable
extinguishing agents. Do not use water to put out the flames.

Fireplace location

Depending on your Ozflame™ model, the fireplace should be located in an appropriate position
where the fire will operate safely. Do not locate the fireplace near flammable materials such as
curtains. Read the warning section and allow the appropriate recommended clearances. Indoor
models can be operated in undercover outdoor locations but should not be left outdoors.
Outdoor models should be kept undercover when not in use.  Your fireplace should be operated
in a well ventilated space at all times. Do not leave your fireplace unattended at any time.
