DEVICE SETUP

INSTALLATION

2.1 INSTALLATION OF M.2 DRIVE
For reference, the steps below show how to install an NVMe M.2 drive with a 2280, 2260, 2242, or 2230 form factor.

Note that each supported form factor has a post location silkscreened on the inside of the ShuttleOne, which you

can see once the bottom plate is removed. The process described below is otherwise the same for each drive type.

Please review all steps before attempting the installation. If you still have questions after reviewing them, please

contact our Support Team (see Section 3) for assistance.

1. Remove the ShuttleOne from the retail packaging and set it on a static-free work surface.

2. Flip the device over and remove the four Phillips screws that hold the bottom cover in place. A Phillips 00 driver

is required (not included).
