3. Start
Connect the supplied USB cable to any spare USB port on your system
(eg: Amplifier / DVD / Sky Box / Mains plug with USB port etc.) and
connect the MicroUSB end to the Soundbox via its micro USB port to
power it on.
(Note: there is no power button)
Connect the Soundbox device to your sound equipment with an audio
cable using the 3.5mm headphone / stereo output port or the SPDIF
optical port. (Note: 3.5mm to Stereo RCA cable is included. (3.5mm to
3.5mm cable or Optical TOSlink SPDIF are available separately)
Connect your iOS and/or Android devices to this Soundbox via Wi-Fi…
3.1 Connect to the Soundbox via Wi-Fi
Enter your device SETTINGS
Wi-Fi (WLAN)
search and connect
to the SSID of this device, which shows by default as “ Soundbox”.
3.2 Bridge to internet via the Soundbox
3.2.1. To connect to the Web to allow browsing whilst streaming music:
a)
Input
http://192.168.222.254
on your device’s browser to enter the
Web page of Soundbox while it’s connected by Wi-Fi.
b)
Click < Internet Connection > button, then turn on the < Wireless
access >, it will auto scan the surrounding Wi-Fi hotspots and show the
options.
c)
Choose the available one you wish to connect to. Enter a password if
needed.
After that, this device will auto reboot and will be connected to the
chosen Wi-Fi hotspot.
You’ll see the chosen Wi-Fi Hotspot is ticked
“
√” if the connection was successful.
You should now be able to
stream music to the Soundbox whilst browsing the internet on the same
device.
