•
It is advisable to take a breath test at the room temperature in
order to assure optimal accuracy.
•
It is also advisable to store the device at the room temperature
(when the device is not used for a long time) to keep the sensor
in a proper condition.
•
Do not use and do not store the device at extreme temperatures
and in highly humid conditions.
•
To use the device, gently press and slip off the battery cover. Put
two AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries in and close the battery cover.
Using non-alkaline batteries may result in imprecise results
HOW TO USE:
•
Put the mouthpiece in the opening on the left side of the device.
It is recommended to change the mouthpiece after every use.
•
Switching ON
: press on/off key (4) and hold for 2 seconds to
switch the device on. The device initiates the sensor heating
procedure. The second hand starts counting.
Alcohol content from breath sample is now taken:
•
Preparing : when counting is over, you will see a fl ashing „rdy”
(ready) which means the device is now ready to collect the sample
of breath.
**UThe device will wait for 8 seconds for the sample of breath.
If it is not detected, the device will show zero - 0.00.
•
Blowing
: blow continuously into the mouthpiece. A long „beep”
sound suggests that the device collects the air. Keep on blowing
until you can hear a loud sound in the form of a „double beep”.
At this point you have to stop blowing in.
•
The device starts analyzing the breath and shows ” „
(calculating).
•
Wait for a while to see the result in ‰ on the display.
•
Switching off : press on/off key (4) and hold for 2 seconds to
switch the device off .
