FOR YOUR SAFETY:
IF YOU SMELL GAS

CARBON MONOZIDE HAZARD
This appliance can produce carbon monoxide which has no odour. Using it in an enclosed space
can be lethal. Never use this appliance in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car or home.
Make sure the flame on the appliance is steady. The flame shall always leave the appliance straight
upwards. Wind may press the flame down underneath the burner. If this happens stop the
appliance and move it out of the wind.
When the appliance is stored the gas cartridge has to be disconnected.

How to handle the gas
• If you need to check the gas soundness you should do it outdoors.
• Never use an application with damaged/worn seals and never use a leaking, damaged or
malfunctioned appliance
• Never leave the appliance unattended when lit
• Do not allow pans to boil dry
• Always unscrew the cartridge from the appliance when not in use and store them in a safe and
dry place away from heat
• Do not misuse the appliance or use it for other purposes than it is attended for
• Handle the appliance with care. Make sure not to drop it
• Distance to inflammable materials must be ensured. Minimum distance to combustibles at
least 50cm from sides and at least 20cm from top
Setting up your cooker
Open the lid by releasing catches. Open and attach the two windshields to the lid. Attach the gas
hose to the brass inlet nozzle and secure with a suitable hose clip (see your LPG dealer for advice).
Maintenance
• Ensure the appliance is cool before cleaning.
• Use a non-abrasive detergent and cloth to clean the outer casing and cooker top. The pan
support and griddle can be removed for easier cleaning. Avoid clogging the burner ports. Dry
immediately.
• If the burner ports become clogged, do not use a metallic object to clear them.
• If the appliance has not been used for some time, check the venturing pipes before use
for spider webs or other obstructions. If you suspect a gas leak or malfunction, stop using
immediately, extinguish and disconnect from the gas cylinder. Have the appliance tested by a
qualified person. All repairs should be performed by a qualified technician.
• If you suspect a gas leak or malfunction, stop using immediately, extinguish and disconnect
from the gas cylinder.
• Check for leaks at all joints using soapy water. NEVER USE A NAKED FLAME TO CHECK FOR
LEAKS.
• If gas pressure drops or the gas will not light, check if there is gas left in the cylinder. If there is
gas left in the cylinder the jet nozzle on the appliance might be blocked
• Cleaning the jet nozzle:
1. Fully turn off the control knob and disconnect the gas cartridge
2. Lift up the grates and unscrew the top of the burner
3. Turn over the appliance and loosen the base of the burner
4. Unscrew the nozzle attached to the valve
5. Blow through the hole to clean the nozzle
6. Reattach the nozzle and screw to form a tight seal
7. Assemble the burner base and top
8. Place the grates in the correct position
9. Reconnect the gas cylinder. Check the connecting joint with warm soapy water. The seal is
not tight enough if the soapy water bobbles
• If you are not able to rectify any fault following the abovementioned instructions, return the
appliance to the dealer. Never attempt any other maintenance or repair and never modify the
appliance.
