5. Installing with gas supply system
Important notes:
● To operate, you will need a precision filled standard G30/G31 grill LP gas cylinder with exter-
nal valve threads.
● Use a standard flexible tube with a length less than 0.3m. The entire length of the tube
should be visible for inspection after installation.
DANGER: You must have the proper regulator and bottle for the appliance to operate safely
and efficiently. An incorrect or faulty regulator is dangerous and will void your warranty.
Connecting LP gas cylinder
Before connecting, ensure there is no debris in the head of the LP tank, regulator valve or
burner and burner ports.
Connect the gas line to the tank by turning the knob clockwise until it stops. Ensure the tube is
not being twisted.
Do not use this appliance with an adjustable regulator. It is recommended to use this appliance
with a LP gas cylinder of 10kg. The maximum diameter and height of the cylinder is 330mm
and 500mm (Fig. 1).

Pay attention when putting the cylinder into the hole.
Ensure the hose is connected to the cylinder and does not
touch the hot surface. Keep the cylinder in place. Never put
a spare cylinder in the same enclosure. Never block the
way or shut off the valve.
Warning: Turn off the cylinder if you smell gas.
Disconnecting LP gas cylinder
Ensure the LP gas tank valve is closed before disconnecting.
Disconnect the gas line from the LP gas cylinder by turning
the knob anticlockwise, until it is loose.
Carry out a leak test once the gas cylinder is connected.
DANGER: Keep away from any source of ignition when changing the gas container.
Leak testing (to be performed in well ventilated areas)
● Ensure all appliance control knobs are off.
● Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
● Check for leaks by brushing a soap solution over the gas system joints, including all valve,
hose and regulator connections.
● NEVER USE AN OPEN FLAME TO TEST FOR LEAKS.
● If bubbles form over any of the joints, there is a leak. Turn off the gas supply and retighten
that joint. Repeat the test. If the bubbles form again, contact the manufacturer or a mechanic
for assistance. Conduct a leak test annually or whenever the gas cylinder is removed or
replaced.
