Figure 1- The hose connected to the supplied regulator and tightened with the clamp.
Figure 2 – Illustrates the supplied regulator being placed into the gas cylinder, please see
below the direction to close the gas tank is clockwise and to open the gas is anticlockwise.
This appliance must be kept away from flammable materials when on.
The pressure regulating valve should comply with the standard EN16129.
Disconnecting the LP gas cylinder:
Before disconnecting, ensure the LP gas tank valve is ‘CLOSED’.
Disconnect the gas line from the LP gas cylinder by turning the knob anticlockwise until loose.
After connecting the gas cylinder, carry out a leak test.
Danger: When changing the gas container, keep away from any source of ignition.
Leak testing (to be performed in well ventilated areas)
● Ensure all control knobs are in the off position.
● Open the gas control valve on the cylinder.
● Check for leaks by brushing soap solution over all gas system joints, including valve, hose
and regulator connections.
NEVER USE AN OPEN FLAME TO TEST FOR LEAKS
If bubbles form over any of the joints, there is a leak. Turn off the gas supply and retighten that
joint. Repeat the test. If bubbles form again, contact the manufacturer or mechanic for assis-
tance. Conduct a leak test annually or whenever the gas cylinder is removed or replaced.
