Fastening to the swing equipment:
Please check whether the hooks have been tightly screwed into the frame chosen by you.
Screw hooks with wooden thread must be screwed into the wooden beam at least 1 cm
beyond the thread. Concrete hooks should be screwed into the screw anchor at least 10%
beyond the thread. After being tightened, the hooks must be positioned diagonal to the
swing frame, i.e. when you stand in front of the swing, you should be able to see through
the eye of the hook. The frame should stand firmly (It should not wobble) and be able to
carry a weight of 200 kg.
After you have hinged the swing, press the hook with a pair of tongs (not supplied) so that the
rings do not come out or break free.
To adjust the length of the rope to the size of your child,
please proceed as shown in the figures 1 and 2 below:
While fastening the swing, please not that distance A should be bigger than
distance B plus distance h
multiplied by 0.04 i.e. A > Bx0.04
(See figure)
The minimum distance between the suspension points of a swing, measured
along the cross beam, should be calculated as follows:
A = Distance between the suspension points along the cross beam
B = Distance between the connecting points of the swing element
and the suspension aids
h = Distance from the floor up to the lower side of the cross beam
A = 0,04 h + B
MAINTENANCE:
The following points should be noted whenever the activity toy has not been used for a long time. This especially applies at
the start of the new outdoor playing season.
All the parts of the activity toy should be checked regularly. In this process, also check whether all the screws and nuts are
fitted tightly and tighten them if required. All the moving parts made of metal should be oiled regularly. All the screw caps
and sharp edges must be checked and replaced if required. The seats of the swing, chains, ropes and other accessories
must be regularly checked for signs of wear and tear. They are to be replaced according to the manufacturer's instructions
if required.
Ropes and rings should be constantly checked for decay, existing wear and tear strength. The best way to check this is by
opening the ropes (twisting) till the inner strands are visible. Check on a regular basis whether the knots are tight. Check
the wood regularly for signs of decay and weak points where it could break. Also check whether chips are projecting from
wooden parts. These need to be removed using sandpaper to prevent injuries.
The hooks, into which the activity toy is suspended, must be regularly checked for their condition. The screwed hooks
should be smooth to prevent friction which in turn causes material wear.
Storage:
The parts of the activity toy should not be unnecessarily exposed to the outdoor conditions. This especially applies to wet
weather, in autumn / winter and if not used for a long time. All the parts should be stored in a dry place to prevent damage
and mould formation.
Caution:
Always replace faulty parts with original spare parts. Changes may be made to the original toy (for e.g. by adding or
removing an accessory) only in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Improper assembly or incorrect storage of the toy may result in serious injuries during use.
