become hot during use. Be careful when taking out the pan and the baking tray and
when removing the
fi
lter compartment! Always allow all accessories to cool down
fi
rst
before you remove them and clean them.

oven cloths or kitchen gloves if you want to remove food.

Ensure that there is suf

cient ventilation while the device is in operation.

The drinks and food which are prepared are hot, be careful when handling hot liquids
and food.
1. Place the device on a level,
fi
rm and heat-resistant surface.
2. Make sure the device is a suf
fi
cient distance away from kitchen wall units etc.
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 220 - 240 volt plug socket.
4. Use the device in the manner described in the following “Coffee Machine”, “Oven”
and “Pan” sections.
5. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket when the device is not in use.
6. Allow the device to cool down. Then clean the device and the accessories you have
used (see the "Care and Storage" chapter). Do not allow any food residues to dry on
the device.

CAUTION!

Danger of burns! Never pour water into the water tank during the brewing process or
when the device is switched on! Always switch off the device to top the water tank up
again! Never attempt to remove the
fi
lter compartment during the brewing process.
■
Beware of steam escaping! Never open the cover during use! Hot steam or hot spray
water may escape.
■
Before
fi
rst using the device, make sure that the cover is closed and the
fi
lter com-
partment and the
fi
lter are inserted correctly.
■
Never use the coffee machine without water in the water tank. The pump could be
damaged if the device is operated without water.
■
Do not over
fi
ll the water tank. Note the corresponding MIN and MAX markings.
1. Insert the
fi
lter compartment into the device by
fi
rst plugging the top locking lug into
the recess provided for it on the water tank and then plugging the bottom locking lug
into the bottom recess.
2. Insert the permanent
fi
lter or a paper
fi
lter.
3. Fill the
fi
lter with the desired quantity of coffee powder. Do not over
fi
ll the
fi
lter to
ensure that the water in the
fi
lter compartment does not over
fl
ow.
4. Pour water into the water tank. Note the MIN and MAX markings on the tank.
5. Close the cover and make sure that it sits on correctly.
6. Place the glass jug beneath the coffee outlet.
