With some rear wheels the quick-release axles are
secured with retaining rings to protect them from fall-
ing out of the wheel hub. Remove the retaining rings
using circlip pliers and pull the quick-release axle out
of the hub.
Reposition the retaining ring into the hub only after
having set the quick-release axle.
Setting the rear wheel position
M1, M2, M3, M6
Loosen the two screws of the rear wheel adapter and
reposition the adapter as desired. The setting must
always be equal on both sides. Be sure that the screw
connections are firmly tightened.
Please note that adjustments of the rear wheel
adapter always require readjustment of the wheel lock
position!
The position of the fitting within the adapter can be
changed after loosening the two main nuts. Loosen one
nut completely and change the position of the fitting.

Loosen the screw connections on the lower frame tube
and on the central unit. Move or turn the adapter to
the desired position and retighten the screw connec-
tions.
