Mounting the four-point lap belt
1) Mount the three-slot mounting brackets (see fig. 29, item 5) at the bore holes on the bottom of the seat plate
(see fig. 30).
INFORMATION: It should be possible to turn the three-slot mounting brackets with some resistance if
needed.
2) Turn the three-slot mounting brackets (see fig. 29, item 5) to the outside.
3) Lay the four-point lap belt on the seat.
4) Guide the upper belts (see fig. 29, item 2) sideways under the hip supports (see fig. 31, item 1).
With adjustable arm supports:
Guide the upper belts behind the arm support holder (see fig. 31, item 1).
5) Guide the support straps (see fig. 29, item 3) sideways under the hip supports
a few centimetres in front of
the upper belts
as well (see fig. 31, item 2).
With adjustable arm supports:
Route the support straps (3) in front of the arm support attachment (not illus
trated).
6) Thread the ends of the belt through the three-slot mounting brackets (see fig. 28). Adjust the belt length and
tighten the belt.
7) If necessary, cut off protruding belt ends and seal the loose ends by applying heat (e.g. with a lighter).
