7 Delivery
7.1 Transport to the customer
NOTICE
Use of unsuitable packaging
Damage to the product caused by transportation using incorrect packaging
► Use only the original packaging for delivery of the product.
7.2 Handing over the product

Tipping over, falling of the user due to lack of knowledge
► Instruct the user or the attendant in the proper use of the product when handing it over.
The following steps must be performed for the safe delivery of the product:

The existing seating unit has to be adapted to the indoor mobility base for test purposes. In doing so, pay spe­
cial attention to the firm attachment of the seating unit.
• Instruct the user and attendants in the safe use of the product. In particular, the enclosed instructions for use
are to be used.
• The instructions for use must be given to the attendant upon delivery of the product.
8 Use
8.1 Instructions for use
• Attaching loads (e.g. backpacks) can adversely affect stability. Therefore, suspending additional loads on the
product is not permitted.
8.2 Basic functions
8.2.1 Attaching/detaching the seating unit
CAUTION
Failure to secure the seating unit when attaching it
User falling, tipping or falling out of the seating unit due to it not being secured or parts coming loose
► Before attaching and removing the seating unit and before the user gets in or out, always engage the wheel
lock on the mobility base. Verify the braking function.
► When attaching the seating unit, always make sure it engages audibly in the mobility base.
► Secure the seating unit using the seat lock.
