8.2.3 Removing and fastening the calf strap
The calf strap offers additional support for the user’s legs. It also prevents the feet from sliding off the foot plate
into the danger area. The calf strap can be removed for cleaning.
Removing the calf band
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures on the calf band (see fig. 13, item 1).
2) Remove the calf band from both leg support brackets.
Fastening the calf band
1) Open all hook-and-loop closures on the calf band.
2) Route the calf band around both leg support brackets and fasten the hook-and-loop (see fig. 14).
3) Adjust the length and fasten the hook-and-loop closure.

8.2.4 Adjusting the leg support
1) Use a Phillips screwdriver (not included in the scope of delivery) to loosen the screws on the clamp brackets
on both of the front frames (see fig. 15, item 1).
2) Slide the leg support brackets up or down in the clamp brackets according to the bores, by
20 mm
respect
ively.
3) Insert the screws on the clamp brackets and into the bores and firmly tighten them (see fig. 15, item 1).
4) Check that the leg support is securely mounted.
8.2.5 Using the swivel lock
The rehab buggy can be equipped with swivelling front wheels to make steering easier. If needed, the caster
wheels can be locked with the integrated swivel lock. This function increases directional stability on uneven
ground.
1)
Swivel lock activation:
Hold the front wheels straight and push the red locking slides up (see fig. 15, item 2).
2)
Swivel lock deactivation:
Push the red locking slides down.
