2) Close the abdominal strap (see fig. 8).
3) Fasten the clip closure (see fig. 9).
4) Pull the end of the pull cable forward and attach it to the abdominal strap with the hook-and-
loop fastener (see fig. 10).
4.4 Optional – removing components
The side plates, back plate and abdominal plate can be removed. The removal of the components
is directed by the physician.
Side plates
1) Open the hook-and-loop closures between the side plates and back plate.
2) Remove the side plates. To do so, pull the side plates over the abdomen part (see fig. 11).
Back plate
1) Pull out the spring button and remove the thorax support (see fig. 4).
2) Remove the abdominal strap from the back plate. In order to do so, detach the Mechanical
Advantage Pulley System from the hook-and-loop fastener on the back plate.
3) Remove the back plate.
Abdominal plate
> The back part must be removed.
1) Open the hook-and-loop closures on the abdomen part.
2) Remove the abdominal plate (see fig. 12).
4.5 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
Clean the brace regularly:
1) Remove all boards/plates.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
3) Hand wash the brace in warm water at
30 °C
with standard mild detergent.
4) Rinse well.
5) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).

Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
