The product has to be removed from the wheelchair or seating shell
mobility base and safely stowed in the vehicle during transportation in a
vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility.
7.3 Care
CAUTION

Clean the product at regular intervals.
►
Do not clean the product with a jet of water or a pressure washer. The
penetration of water can cause corrosion and subsequent malfunc
tions.
7.3.1 Cleaning
Clean the product regularly depending on the degree of soiling and fre
quency of use,
at least 1x per month
:

Use warm soapy water for cleaning. Add some disinfectant if needed.
Carefully dab the product with a damp cloth or sponge and wipe with a
dry, clean cloth.
•
Do not use any aggressive cleaners, solvents or hard brushes etc.
•
Allow the product to fully air dry before use.
•
Do not expose the product to direct heat (e.g. sunshine, stove or radiator
heat, hair dryer).
7.3.2 Disinfection
•
Thoroughly clean the product before disinfecting.
•
Wipe all parts of the product with a disinfectant.
•
Only use colourless water-based disinfectants. Observe the instructions
for use provided by the manufacturer.
8 Maintenance and repair
CAUTION
Wear and tear of the padding on the product
Risk of injury due to unallowable continued use, loss of functionality

Frequent use can result in wearing of the padding surfaces. Have the
product replaced immediately in case of damage.
