3 Application
3.1 Indications for use
The product is to be used solely for lower limb prosthetic fittings.
3.2 Area of Application
CAUTION
Excessive strain on the product
Falling due to breakage of load-bearing components

Use the product exclusively according to its MOBIS classification (see Fig.

on page 5).

Use the product exclusively for the approved amputation levels

MG 1: indoor walker
The patient has the ability or the potential to use the prosthesis for the purpose of moving or proceeding
slowly on level floors. The amount of time and the distance he/she can walk are seriously limited due to
his/her condition.
MG 2: Restricted outdoor walker
The patient has the ability or the potential to walk slowly with the prosthesis and to negotiate low environ
mental obstacles like curbs, single steps or uneven surfaces. The amount of time and the distance he/she
can walk are seriously limited due to his/her condition.
3.3 Combination Possibilities

Only combine the product with prosthetic components that are approved for the patient

3.4 Environmental Conditions
CAUTION
Use under unallowable environmental conditions
Fall due to damaged product

Do not expose the product to unallowable environmental conditions (see the table "Unallow
able environmental conditions" in this section).

If the product has been exposed to unallowable environmental conditions, check it for dam
age.
►
If damage is apparent or in case of doubt, do not continue using the product.
►
Take suitable measures if required (e. g. cleaning, repair, replacement, inspection by the
manufacturer or a specialist workshop etc.).
