The product "transhumeral soft harness" is referred to simply as the product/support in the fol
lowing.
These instructions for use provide you with important information on the use, adaptation and
handling of the product.
Only put the product into use in accordance with the information contained in the accompanying
documents supplied.
2 Product description
2.1 Function
The product is for additional fixation of the prosthetic socket.
2.2 Design
The product consists of the following components:
1. Strap
2. Shoulder flap
3. Hook-and-loop shoulder closure
4. Sleeve
5. Hook-and-loop sleeve closure
6. Shoulder loop
3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The product is intended for upper limb exoprosthetic fittings on youths and adults.
3.2 Conditions of use
The product is intended
exclusively
for use on
one
user. Use of the product by another person is
not approved by the manufacturer.
The product has been developed for use in everyday activities. It must not be used for activities
where it would be exposed to unallowable environmental conditions or strains (e.g. extreme
sports).
