for contact with intact skin.
The orthosis must be used in accordance with the indications.

4 Preparation for use
4.1 Environmental conditions
Permitted:
Temperature range for use −10 °C to +60 °C; relative
humidity 0 % to 90 %, non-condensing.
Not permitted:
Mechanical vibrations, impacts, perspiration, urine,
fresh water, salt water, acids, dust, sand, highly hygroscopic particles
(such as talcum).
4.2 Processing
For further processing instructions, see the 646T523=* technical
information.
1) Place the dummy on the joint pivot point of the plaster model and
secure it with the nails (see fig. 1).
2) Vacuum-form or laminate the orthosis.
3) Remove the orthosis and dummies from the plaster model after it
has hardened/cooled.
4) Separate the foot and calf component with a saw and deburr the
edges (see fig. 2).
5) For pre-flexed joints make a U-shaped cutout, for straight joints
make a V-shaped cutout at the front sides of the joint adapters
(see fig. 3).
6) Drill the mounting holes for the joints (diameter 4.5 mm).
7) Insert the joints and attach them to the orthosis with the screws
(see fig. 4) (torque value: 0.5 Nm).
8) Cover both joints with the padding.
