7 Activating the purge function
On the front of the OTT CBS there is a
Pump membrane button (see Fig. 14).
Pressing the button activates the purge function for as long as it is pressed. The
Status LED lights for approx. 2 seconds. With an activated purge function, the
CBS pumps a large amount of air through the measuring tube for the required
time period (see also Chapter 11). The purge function can also be activated via
an SDI-12 command.
Note:
Press the membrane button for at least one second as otherwise the error
memory is called and displayed at the
Status LED.
