SAFETY INFORMATION
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This device is intended to be used in domestic and similar applications, such as
- kitchen areas for staff in stores, offices and other work environments;
-field-houses;
-for customers in hotels, motels and other residential environments;
-bed and breakfast environments.
- This device may be used by children age 8 and older and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the hazards
- Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the user should
not be carried out by children without supervision.
This appliance must not be used by:
- Persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Packaging material may be hazardous to children!
- This appliance is for household use only
- To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water
or other liquid.
- Unplug before cleaning or servicing the unit. Use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap,
then use a dry cloth to wipe the unit clean again.
- This device must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will
reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current.
- This appliance is equipped with a grounding conductor plug.
- The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
- Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric
shock. Consult a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt as to
whether the appliance is properly grounded.
