TO BE USED AS A STAND FAN

1. Place the base of the fan on the floor and insert the shaft to 

it. Attach the shaft onto the base with the four screws and nuts 

included with the unit. Tighten the screws until the nuts are inside 

the wells under the base (see figure 1). 

2. Place the cover onto the base (see figure 2).

3. Slide the height adjustment nut down the shaft and adjust the 

upper part of the shaft to the desired height and then turn the nut 

to tighten it (see figure 3). 

4. Then place the motor head onto the top of the shaft and tighten it 

using the thumb screw (see figure 4).

5. Place the rear grill on the motor head making sure the small hole 

on the grill is on the bottom. Attach the rear grill using the four 

screws that come with the unit (see figure 5).

6. Insert the fan blade making sure the notch is lined up with the 

peg in the motor head shaft then screw in the fan bade lid nut 

counterclockwise until it is tight (see figure 6).

7. Slide in the front grill by the locking tabs making sure the Oster 

logo is straight (see figure 7).

8. Slid in the control switch onto the back of the motor head.
