3 Year Limited Warranty
Sunbeam Products, Inc. or if in Newell Brands Canada ULC (collectively “Sunbeam”) warrants
that for a period of three years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects
in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or
any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement
will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer
available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is
your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical
functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase
and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain
warranty performance. Sunbeam dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam
products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions
of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use
contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than
Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts
of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on Sunbeam’s Liability?
Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of
any express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.
Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the
above warranty.
Sunbeam disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory
or otherwise.
Sunbeam shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or
misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential or similar
damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any
claim brought against purchaser by any other party.
Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from
province to province, state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

IMPORTANTES
L’emploi d’un appareil électrique exige l’observation de précautions de sécurité
de base pour éviter incendie, choc électrique ou blessures corporelles, dont les
suivantes:
1. Lisez toutes les instructions avant l’utilisation.
2. Pour vous protéger des chocs électriques, ne placez ou ne plongez pas le cordon,
les fiches ou bien l’appareil dans l’eau ou dans un autre liquide.
3. Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être employé par des enfants ou par des
personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou
qui sont dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance. Redoublez de vigilance si un
appareil fonctionne près d’enfants. Surveillez assidûment les enfants afin qu’ils
ne jouent pas avec l’appareil. De plus, gardez l’appareil et le cordon hors de leur
portée.
4. Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans surveillance lorsqu’il est en utilisation.
5. Débranchez l’appareil entre utilisations, avant de monter ou démonter toute pièce
et avant de le nettoyer. Attendez qu’il ait refroidi pour le nettoyer, monter ou
démonter toute pièce. ÉTEIGNEZ-le puis débranchez-le en tirant délicatement le
cordon – ne tirez jamais le cordon d’un coup sec.
6. Évitez tout contact avec le couteau ou les pièces en mouvement.
7. N’employez pas un appareil dont le cordon ou la fiche est endommagé, qui
a présenté des anomalies de fonctionnement, est tombé ou a été abîmé d’une
manière quelconque. Retournez-le au centre de services le plus proche afin de lui
faire subir les vérifications, mises au point ou réparations nécessaires.
8. Une branche de la fiche de l’appareil porte des marquages importants. La fiche de
connexion ne peut pas être changée. En cas d’endommagement, l’appareil doit être
remplacé.
9. L’emploi d’accessoires, y compris de bocaux, que ne vend pas ou ne conseille pas
le fabricant de l’appareil peut causer incendie, choc électrique ou blessures.
10. N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur ou à des fins commerciales.
11. Veillez à ce que le cordon ne pende pas du comptoir ou de la table et ne touche
pas de surfaces chaudes, y compris la cuisinière.
12. Gardez mains et ustensiles hors du récipient durant l’utilisation, afin de réduire les
risques de blessures et de ne pas abîmer le mélangeur.
13. Le couteau étant très acéré, manipulez-le prudemment – surtout lorsque vous le
sortez du récipient, videz le récipient ou procédez à son lavage.
14. Pour réduire le risque de blessures, ne placez jamais le couteau sur le socle-moteur
sans qu’il ne soit convenablement fixé au récipient.
15. Posez toujours la main sur le récipient durant le fonctionnement. Si le récipient
tourne lorsque le moteur est mis en MARCHE, ÉTEIGNEZ aussitôt l’appareil et
serrez le récipient dans la base filetée.
