INDICATIONS FOR USE
The Rebound
®
Post-Op Knee brace is designed to limit flexion and
extension and may be beneficial in the following situations:
• ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL repairs/injuries
• Meniscal repairs
• Tibial plateau fractures
• Patellar tendon repairs
• Osteochondral repairs
• Condylar fractures
• Sprains/strains of the knee
• HTOs (High Tibial Osteotomy)
INTENDED USE
Controlled range-of-motion for post-traumatic, post-surgical repair of the
knee.
CAUTION
1. This product has been designed and tested for single patient use, and
is not recommended for multiple patient use.
2. The patient must immediately contact their practitioner and
discontinue use if:
– any problems occur with the use of this product;
– the patient experiences increased pain, swelling, sensation
changes, skin irritation, or other adverse reaction while using this
product.
3. The patient should be advised to consult their practitioner before
making any adjustments to the brace.
4. This product is intended to be prescribed and fitted by a licensed
practitioner.
5. Proper rehabilitation and activity modification are also essential parts
of a safe treatment program.
Note:
The Rebound Post-Op knee brace is not made with natural rubber
latex.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Apply full foam liner
(Figure 1)
. Cut to size along top/bottom or side
(non-hook side) if necessary.
2. Position brace paddles on leg by aligning hinge center to knee center
(Figure 2)

3. To adjust length of hinge arms:

– Push down on length adjustment button to unlock paddle
(Figure 3a)
.
– Slide paddle to desired length.
– Repeat adjustment for all paddles. Ensure all length adjustment
buttons are in locked position.
Important:
Practitioner should adjust the brace length to provide
optimal knee stabilization. Upper hinge arms should extend no
higher than 5cm from groin level. Lower hinge arms should extend
no lower than calf/Achilles tendon junction.
