3) Group 1 (forward-facing, with 3-point car seatbelt)
(For children weighing 9-18 kg)
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT USE THE CHILD CAR SEAT FACING IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL
UNTIL YOUR CHILD WEIGHS AT LEAST 9 KG.
1.
Turn the child car seat into the forward-facing position. Check that the child car seat is
locked in this position.
2.
When facing in the direction of travel, the child car seat offers three adjustable seat
positions (position 2, 3 & 4).

Pull the 3-point car seatbelt out to its maximum length and guide it through the first
opening on the front of the backrest of the child car seat, which is located on the side of
the 3-point car seatbelt.
4. Continue to feed the 3-point seatbelt under the belt system at the back of the child car
seat and through the other opening in the backrest of the child car seat and back towards
the front again.
5. Fasten the buckle of the 3-point seatbelt until it locks in place audibly and ensure that the
belt is not twisted.
6. Pull as tightly as possible on the diagonal belt until the whole of the 3-point belt is taut and
the child car seat is firmly in position.
7. Unfasten the belt buckle on the child car seat and place the belts on the outside of the seat.
8. Put your child in the child car seat.
9. Adjust the height of the head support so that the shoulder belt remains free.
10. Fasten the belt buckle again until you hear a click.
11. Pull the front adjustment strap to tighten the belts. Ensure that the straps are not twisted.
