4. How to use
Keypad is designed in a plastic enclosure with a removable base (Figure 1). Keypad PCB and
battery holder are set inside the enclosure.
A multi-color LED indicator and RESET contacts to initiate the process of binding with the
Lun-R radio are placed on the keypad PCB.
Figure 1. Keypad-R
Depending on external actions, the keypad transmits the following events to the Lun-R re-
ceiver:
●
If the voltage of the battery drops to 2.2V or lower – the event "
Battery low
" is generated.
In addition, the keypad transmits periodic test signals to the receiver to confirm its operability.
When the test signals stop, the control panel generates the
keypad communication lost
event.
To transmit a code combination to the Lun-R receiver, input the desired combination using the
number keys, and then press and release the key. If an error was made during the input (before
pressing the key), then all entered data can be deleted from the buffer by pressing the key.
Pressing any key is accompanied by a short-term activation of the keyboard indicator (see sec-
tion 4.1) and the backlighting of the remaining keys, as well as a short beep of the built-in sounder.
If the code is not completed by pressing a key, then after 3 seconds the keypad clears the
input buffer, accompanied by a triple short beep.
In the absence of user actions for more than 3 seconds, the keypad goes into power saving
mode. In this mode, the input buffer is cleared, and the key backlight turns off.
