4.5. Adjusting

After installation, the detector should be configured in the following order:

1. Remove both power sources;

2. Set the DIP-switches

#1

#2

#3

 to

OFF

;

3. Install detector power sources –

 first then

MAIN

;

4. Assess the level of acoustic noise at the installation place by the indicator glowing green

(no interference if there is no glow). If interference is present, their source should be

eliminated;

5. Set the switches

#1

#2

#3

 to

ON

. The indicator starts flashing green 1 time per second;

6. Close the detector cover;
7. Apply a few blows to the protected glass (in the part farthest from the detector) with a

steel ball with a diameter of ~21mm suspended on a thread 35 cm long, deflecting it to
the angle indicated in Table 2.

5. Maintenance

The product work should be checked annually.

6. Operating conditions

1. Detector is designed for continuous operation.

2. Detector shall be used at the temperature of –20°С to +55°С and relative humidity of 5% to

85%.

3. If the transportation conditions differ from the operating conditions, then the detector must

be kept in the operating conditions for 2…6 hours before switching on.
