5.2.3.2 Detaching the 30°
backrest
The 30° backrest can be detached for
transport or storage. Screw out the se-
curing screw (Fig. 46/

) on both sides
and then pull off the backrest in an up-
ward direction.
5.2.3.3 Attaching the 30°
backrest
Insert the tubes of the backrest, from
above, into the rear frame tubes until
the end stop is reached and then
tighten the securing screw (Fig. 47/
➀
)
on both sides.
5.2.4 Electrically height-adjust-
able backrest

for information on how to adjust
the electrically-adjustable backrest.
5.2.3 30° backrest
The angle of the 30° backrest (Fig. 59)
can be infinitely-adjusted between
approx. -5° and 30°.
The adjustable backrest is combined with
the sloped armrest (Fig. 44/

) to pre-
vent a trapping between the backrest
and armrest.
5.2.3.1 Adjusting the backrest
angle
You unlock the backrest by simultane-
ously pulling both levers (Fig. 45/
➀
) on
the push bar. Then move the backrest
to the desired angle (Fig. 45/
➁
) and
release both levers. The backrest is then
locked in this position.

Attention:
Only incline the backrest to the rear
when the wheelchair is standing on
a level surface. Danger of tipping
over when the backrest is inclined to
the rear.
