Adjust the palm metal splint to adapt it to the patient’s wrist after removing it
from the brace. Put the splint back into the brace (Fig. 1).
Repeat the procedure for the thumb metal splint.

Open all the Velcro
®
straps and pull the straps out of the buckle
(fastening them provisionally on themselves).
Apply the brace such that the metal splint is positioned at the palm and
the thumb is inserted into the provided support (Fig. A). Close the fabric insert
by using the Velcro
®
fastening (Fig. B).
In case a complete opening of the brace is not necessary, put the hand under
the above mentioned precautions (positioning the metal splint at the palm)
into the closed brace (Fig. C).
Fixing the brace:
• Wrap the central strap around the wrist, pass it through the relevant buckle,
tighten it and fasten it with the Velcro
®
strap (Fig. D).
• Pass the remaining straps through the relevant buckles, tighten them and fasten
them with the Velcro
®
, fi rst the hand one (Fig. E) and then the forearm one (Fig. F).
After fi xing the brace fasten the Velcro
®
strap of the thumb opening (Fig. G).
