1.3  UNPACKING 

1.

 

Remove the Detective X, the power adapter with DC cable, and the mains adapter package from the case.

Referring to Figure 8, on the upper-left of the rear panel, unscrew the protective cover from the DC power 

connector and plug in the DC power cable from the power supply. The connector is keyed, so use the 

arrows to line it up correctly, then push in and twist the ring clockwise to lock the connector in place. 

Do 

not force or overtighten the connection.
