Application of the emmi®-dent Go
with 100% original emmi®-dent ultrasound.
After switching on the emmi®-dent, you will feel the discreet
vibration motor and a quiet position change signal every 6
seconds. Both have nothing to do with the actual cleaning pro-
cess. Ultrasound in the range of the multi-frequency bandwidth
we use is basically vibration-free and noiseless. Both functions
serve to provide the user with feedback that the unit is running.
The user feels and hears that the device has been turned on
and is ready to function. For even better user control, a quiet
position change signal tone is generated every 6 seconds, the
motor stops briefly and you thus also receive a haptic signal. The
position change signal tone can optionally be switched off as
already described (in combination with the motor).
Daily use
For your dental hygiene, we recommend you to clean your teeth
with the 100% Original Ultrasound of your emmi®-dent Go twice
a day for approx. 3 min.
1.
Moisten the bristles of the Ultrasound brush shortly under
running water.

Apply the amount of approx. twice the size of a pea of emmi®-
dent ultrasonic toothpaste to the bristles of the ultrasonic
attachment. Only the use of emmi®-dent ultrasonic toothpas-
te guarantees the effect of the original 100% emmi®-dent ult-
rasound. You can find out more about emmi®-dent ultrasonic
toothpastes under the separate item „emmi®-dent ultrasonic
toothpastes“ in these operating instructions.

Switch on the device and spread the applied ultrasonic
toothpaste evenly on the inner and outer sides, as well as on
the chewing surfaces of the teeth.

The bristles of the ultrasonic attachment capture 2 - 3 teeth
each, depending on the size of the teeth. Now hold the
bristles alternately from the inside, outside and from above
(chewing surface) lightly, without pressure and motionless
against the teeth for approx. 6 seconds each. The actual dwell
time depends on the degree of contamination of the teeth
(plaque, nicotine, wine discoloration, etc.). For acute problems
such as gingivitis or periodontitis, dwell on the affected areas
for about 15 to 20 seconds. This can help the healing process.

less because the emmi®-dent Go uses soft ultrasound. After
completing the tooth cleaning, with the unit switched on, run
the bristles over the teeth a few times to remove detached
but still present debris. Then rinse the mouth with water or
mouth rinse.

After completing tooth cleaning, rinse the bristles and the
handpiece under running water. Switch off the unit and
lightly dry the handpiece. Make sure that the bristles are clean
and free of food residue or other contaminants. You can now
reconnect the device with the ultrasonic attachment attached
to the charging cable.
