Use a galvanized steel wire of sufficient strength to attach the eyebolt on the unit to the truss
(see below). Adjust the length of the steel wire to be a little longer than the distance from the
truss to the bottom of the unit. This will allow the lights to be slightly adjusted after mounting is
completed.
6.
Tighten the adjustment knobs (step 1) again, as the installation process may loosen the knobs.
7.
Do the shake test again to make sure the unit is securely mounted.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
ALWAYS mount the light to a secure approved truss with sufficient load bearing capability to
ensure a safe installation.
ALWAYS use a galvanized steel wire as a secondary safeguard to prevent injury to property or
persons in case the primary mounting mechanism fails. 12 gauge stranded steel utility wire will
serve as an adequate safety cable for the ORION products lights weighing less than 12 kg / 25
lbf.
