BEFORE USING
Read the instruction carefully. They contain important information for the use, safety and
maintenance of the appliance. Keep them in a safe place and transfer them to a possible
succeeding user. Only use the appliance for the purpose mentioned in these instructions. When
using pay particular attention to the following safety advice.
SAFETY ADVICE:
1. Only connect the appliance to alternating current, with a rated voltage according to the
rating label.
2. The appliance is designed for short time operation. In case large amounts are ground,
switch off the appliance after one minute of operation in order to allow the appliance to
cool down.
3. Only grind coffee with this appliance.
4. Maximum capacity: 50g
5. Do not pull the cord over sharp edges or jam it, and protect it from heat and oil.
6. Do not pull the appliance on hot surfaces, such as hot plates or near unshielded gas
flames.
7. Do not disconnect the appliance by pulling at the cord or grip the cord with wet hands.
8. Only remove the lid after the fly cutter has stopped.
9. Children are not aware of the dangers that can be caused by electrical appliances.
Therefore never operate the appliance unattended. Store the appliance out of the reach
of children.
10. If any of the following happens, do not use the appliance and unplug it immediately:
a. If the appliance or cord is damaged, or
b. If there is defect after a fall or similar
11. Disconnect the appliance in these situations:
a. Any malfunction during operation
b. Prior to cleaning and maintenance or
c. After use
12. Do not immerse the appliance in water
13. In the case of misuse, wrong handling or incorrect repair no liability will be taken for
possible damages. Claims under guarantee are also excluded in such cases.
14. The appliance is not designed for commercial purposes.
15. In case the cord of this appliance is damaged it has to be replaced by an authorized
service agent of the manufacturer of a person having similar qualifications. Substantial
dangers for the user can appear from inappropriate repairs.
PUTTING INTO OPERATION
1. Prior to first use wipe the inside of the lid and the container with damp cloth and rub dry
afterwards. Connect the appliance to a socket. The fill the bowl and put on the lid.
2. The maximum capacity of 50g is sufficient for about 8 cups of coffee.
