CUSTOMISING THE HANDSET AND BASE
3.1 Your handset name
The user name of your handset can be changed. To change this:
1. Press

and select “Handset Menu”

and select “Handset Name”
5. Press
6. Change the name to your new selection (Maximum of 8 characters- pls
refer to 1.7 on how to use the keys)
7. Press
to confirm
8. Press and hold
to return to standby mode
3.2 Handset Auto Answer
When this function is active, you can answer a call directly by removing the handset
from the base station. The default setting of your handset is “Auto Answer on ” . To
turn off the Auto Answer function:
1. Press
2. Press
and select “Handset Menu”
3. Press
4. Press
and select “Auto Answer”
5. Press
and select Auto Answer “OFF” or “ON”
6. Press
to confirm
7. Press and hold
to return to standby mode
Note: If the Auto Answer function is “OFF”, you will have to press

to answer a call.
