BACKLIGHT
Press
SNOOZE/LIGHT
to illuminate the backlight for 5
seconds.
CONTINUOUS BACKLIGHT
The AC power adapter must be plugged in to use this
feature (
→
8).
1.
The
BACKLIGHT
switch is located in the battery
compartment. Move it to the “ON” position to
enable the continuous backlight. Move it to the
“OFF” position to disable.
2.
Move it to the “AUTO” position to enable
continuous backlight controlled by light intensity.
When activated, the backlight will be on
whenever the unit perceives that the room is dark.
3.
The
Light Sensitivity knob
is located in the
battery compartment. Rotate to adjust.
4.
When activated, the continuous backlight will be
half as bright as usual. To achieve full brightness,
press
SNOOZE/LIGHT.
