Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Solution
Sweeper won’t
turn on.
1. Your battery may not be charged. Charge the battery. For first use, charge for
at least 24 hours. Power switch must be in the “OFF” position when charging.
If charge indicator on charger lights up, the battery is charging.
2. Your brushroll may be jammed. Remove obstruction from brushroll.
3. There may be internal component damage. Call Oreck Commercial Customer
Service: 1-800-988-3535.
Sweeper does not
pick up dirt.
1. Your dirt cup may be full. Empty the dirt cup.
2. Your battery may be getting weak. Charge the battery.
Dust escaping from
sweeper.
1. The dirt cup may be full. Empty the dirt cup.
Battery will not
charge.
1. The power button may be in the “ON” position. Press power button to turn to
“OFF” position. If charge indicator on charger lights up, the battery is charging.
Any other servicing should be done by an authorized service representative. If appliance is not
working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, take it to a
service center prior to continuing use.
