OPERATION

•

(FIGURE D-E )

To charge battery off-board,

first remove battery charger from the machine.

Disconnect main charger power cords.

•

(FIGURE F)

Grab charger handle and pull

charger slightly forward, then up.

•

(FIGURE G)

Plug battery charger into power

outlet, then plug battery into charger.

On-Board (Hybrid) Charging

ORBOT LiFe is capable of hybrid charging.

This feature allows the LiFe, when plugged into

a wall socket, to operate off AC power while

simultaneously charging the battery.

•

(FIGURE F)

To use hybrid charging, first

install the battery charger into the battery-

charging compartment.

•

(FIGURE D and E)

Connect the main

charger power cords to the on-board life

charger power cords.

•

(FIGURE H)

Next, connect the main AC

power extension-cord to the machine power

quick-disconnect. Finally, connect the main AC

power extension-cord to a wall socket.

Battery Only Operation

ORBOT LiFe is capable of operating without

use of the charger. This allows continuous

runtime operation. A second battery can be

charged remotely while machine is in use.

To use this feature, simply install battery into

machine (see battery installation) and operate.

CAUTION

Battery Maintenance

• Store batteries in a cool dry location.

• Avoid discharging the battery fully

VERY IMPORTANT TIP!

ALWAYS FULLY CHARGE BATTERY

IMMEDIATELY

after each use!

DO NOT STORE DISCHARGED BATTERY!

RESULT:

 Will VOID battery warranty!
